Today was a wild ride! So this morning, we started off on the wrong foot a little bit.
First off, we got a late start from the hostel, and we missed our tram.
Then, we got on the tram, but we missed our ferry by one minute. The ferries are quick, and we didn’t wait long, but things were messy.

On our way to Hasselblad, we saw the Chalmers campus, then made our way up three flights of stairs to get in the building.

We waited in the lobby for a moment and looked around at some of their candles and photos. Some people made coffee or espresso with their fancy machine.

Hasselblad surprised me! It was so interesting to see the origin story, and they really are so passionate about what they do.
They even let us play around with the cameras, and I held more money in my hand today than I’ve ever seen in real life.
Cam and I were testing out some of the features, and he found a really cool focus feature on their newest digital camera.
I felt bad, because they knew we were running a tight schedule, so they helped us get out of there on time.
Making our way to ABB was rough as well. We made one bus, then missed our second by seconds. It was tragic.

Then, we waited in the rain for 28 minutes for the next bus to ABB. It was fun though, because Robby, Leslye, and I were just cracking jokes the whole time.

At ABB, I had the most delicious pancakes yet, and then Bert gave us a presentation on technology trends.
It was a little concerning to see what the future may hold. The technology is wild, and I don’t know what is going to happen.
The ride back to the hostel was so much shorter than the way there, so we had some down time before dinner.
Then, we made our way to get Chinese with Sylvia and Morgan from Volvo! They’re both amazing, and I had a four-course Chinese dish.
Then, we walked to the stadium where the Frölunda Indians play!

Right off the bat, I went to the gift shop and bought myself a shirt and winter hat, and I bought my friend and baseball cap (because he’s a fraternity boy).

Then, we went down the stairs to get some drinks and met with some of the locals.
Robby, Cam, and I were asked to take a picture with some guys because of our Blackhawks jerseys, and I spent the whole night cheering!

Their captain, who was celebrating his 1000th game, scored two goals. At the end of the night, he skated up to the fan section, and it was touching.
This had to be one of my favorite nights here.

Daily Reflections
1. Hasselblad cameras are worth more than my life.
2. Swedish hockey is, in fact, very fun (but not superior to the NHL).
3. Night bonding with the group is the best kind of bonding.
